Keep your comforts.

I was in Steuben County Court today.

My client faced a 12-count indictment including Assault - a felony accusation carrying up to 25 years imprisonment upon conviction.

The judge dismissed it. Just like another Steuben County judge dismissed a 67-count Enterprise Corruption indictment earlier this week.

In both cases, my clients' statutory rights were violated, hence the dismissals.

Both cases personally prosecuted by the Steuben County District Attorney himself.

Weeks ago I even asked if he wanted to settle. No reply. Well I guess I had to go all in, didn't I.

Oops.

...

On the drive back to my office I was pondering.

You can work hard, pray, be good, and succeed.

Obtain riches.

But if you are fighting power, you will not obtain riches.

You will obtain the whips and scorns of said power.

You will be attacked.

...

The comforts of your prayer room are not bad aren't they?

Cozy indeed.

Maybe you just don't want to fight power?

Maybe you just want to pray that it all goes away.

Like power wont put up a fight.

...

Enjoy your comforts.
